Vault Process Analysis (VPA)

A Majenta Vault Process Analysis or VPA is conducted to detail out each part of your Vault system install. A VPA involves accessing your current Vault system and recording all aspects of your Vault configuration.

We detail the users and groups, the folder structures, any lifecycles that exist within your Vault, along with all other aspects of your Vault system.

We then collate all of the information together in a Vault Implementation Guide.

A Vault Implementation Guide typically includes:

  • Vault Server Environment
  • Windows Login Credentials
  • Vault Login Credentials
  • Implemented File Paths
  • Vault Users & Groups
  • Property Mapping
  • Life-cycles
  • Logging into Your Vault
  • Folder Structure
  • Adding Folders to Vault

  • Moving Files
  • Renaming Files
  • Copy Design – Vault Basic Users
  • Copy Design – Vault WG & Pro
  • Searching Vault
  • Changing Model States
  • Checking Files Out
  • Checking Files In
  • Categories, Behaviours & Rules
  • Workspace Sync

You will then receive a Vault Implementation Administrators Guide & a Vault Implementation User Guide for the business to keep. The Vault Implementation Administrator’s guide is to be kept by the company Vault Administrators for their records, this contains details that the Users are not required to know. The Vault Implementation User Guide can be shared with the users within the business to ensure the correct use of Vault moving forwards.

*Depending on Vault implementation size, a VPA normally takes a single day, providing full access and administration rights are available.
