Import Scans in Various Formats
ReCap 360 supports text-based formats, as well as formats from all major 3D laser scanner manufacturers. Import 3D laser scans into a ReCap native data format for preparation and use in Autodesk design suites.
Create photorealistic 2.5D panoramic visualizations from terrestrial laser scans. Navigate panoramas using a 2D map.
Point Cloud Viewing and Editing
Clean and organize point cloud data with simple editing and selection tools and regioning capabilities.
Combine laser scans more easily with targetless automatic registration that recognizes common overlap in separate scans without sacrificing registration quality.
Accuracy Reports and Survey Control
Add survey points to point clouds in ReCap 360 Pro to improve accuracy in a quality assessment, or to map points to a known grid in existing conditions.
Target-Based Registration Refinement/Rollback
Refine cloud registration accuracy by using targets in low-feature environments. Rerun registration only with the modified scans, and not with the entire set of scans.
Photorealistic Data Visualization
A powerful visualization engine supports massive data sets with photorealistic visual fidelity for full 3D or panoramic scan viewing.
Alignment of Point Clouds
Align laser point clouds with photo-based point clouds to create a unified point cloud.
Real View States
Share a specific viewpoint of a project without having to share the entire point cloud data set. Select and share what is relevant through Real View states.
Create stunning videos of your point clouds or Real Views for communication and marketing purposes. You can also produce work packet materials.
Advanced Measurement Tools
Measure distances to cylindrical objects and planes more easily with automatic shape fitting. Snap point-to-point measurement to recognized objects for faster, truer clearance checking.
Markup and Tagging
Mark up and tag within your point cloud project, and share with other members of the team. Add notes, pictures, and hyperlinks to annotations, and share these markups with collaborators.
Search and Sync
Search and sync markups and tags with multiple collaborators. Quickly find shared markup and tags within your point cloud projects. Sync capabilities enable you to easily share and track all changes with multiple team members.
Access to Cleanup Service
Automatically clean up all moving objects, such as pedestrians, for your point cloud with this new tool.
Access to Scan-to-Mesh Service
Select the scans surrounding the object or asset you want to turn into a photo-textured mesh, such as equipment in a factory. Send this information to our new scan-to-mesh cloud service to create an accurate 3D model. You can then reuse this asset for various purposes. This service works with up to 20 laser scans chosen around the object or asset.
Batch Project Creation from Input Files
RCS is the native point cloud format for all Autodesk software. RCP project files reference this format. By using RCS, you can access the various point cloud features developed in Autodesk software, as well as the best visualization experience.
Export in Various Formats
Export point clouds in various formats: RCP/RCS, E57, PTS, and PCG.
Import Rectilinear Photos
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro supports rectilinear cameras and lenses. It also supports fish-eye lenses in select GoPro cameras.
Import GoPro Images
Use a GoPro camera to capture images over short distances from land, sea, or air for 3D modeling in ReCap 360 Photo.
Support for GPS Tags in EXIFs
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro uses the GPS metadata embedded in the exchangeable image file (EXIF) of each photo to automatically scale and geolocate the scene.
Import Ground Control Points
Add precise survey measurements (ground control points or GCPs) to the stitching process to improve geometric accuracy, or to align the resulting photo-based point cloud with a laser point cloud that uses the same survey data. Supports of all common coordinate systems, including X, Y, Z, ECEF, and LLA-WGS84 formats.
Automatic Photo-to-Mesh in RCM, OBJ, FBX Formats
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro creates high-quality, photo-textured 3D models in the most used formats: OBJ for meshes and textures; FBX for meshes, textures, and 3D camera information; and RCM, the Autodesk Memento format for mesh, textures, and 3D camera information.
Automatic Orthographic Creation
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro creates high-resolution orthographic views and depth maps in Geo TIFF format. InfraWorks 360 and other GIS software can then consume and use these images.
Automatic Point Cloud Creation
Fly in ReCap 360 creates high-density 3D point clouds in RCS format. Edit or use these point clouds in ReCap 360 desktop app or any Autodesk design software.
Manually Add or Stitch Images
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro offers a manual-stitching interface to improve the quality of 3D reconstruction, in the event that some photos do not automatically stitch.
Preview 3D Meshes
With the web preview, Fly in ReCap 360 offers the capability to view 3D models in a draft format before downloading the full-resolution data. You can share this web preview with anyone.
Fly in ReCap 360 Pro uses the power of cloud computing, so you can run multiple projects in parallel. Photos upload after various parameters are set, so you need not wait for the end of the upload to start a new project.
A360 Sharing and Collaboration
ReCap 360 Pro integrates fully with the A360 platform. A specific dashboard enables users to view laser scan or UAV photo projects for easier navigation.
Markup, Sync, and Search
Annotate and share laser scans from the desktop to the cloud for viewing and collaboration in with other Autodesk 360 accounts.

Smart. Flexible. Powerful. Autodesk Subscriptions.
Discover what Maintenance Subscription, Subscription, and Cloud Service Subscription can do for your budget, your people and your projects.
Autodesk Subscription gives you access to Autodesk software—the same full version you get with a perpetual license—but with a flexible, pay-as-you-go approach for a software budget that’s easier to manage.
Contract administrators grant access to subscription for single-user products and associated services by assigning a named user to a product. Each named user is an individual with a unique Autodesk ID. The number of named users you can assign per product is determined by the total number of licenses available for that product.
Supports a specific maximum number of users on computers connected to a network. Licenses are issued via Network License Manager (NLM) software utility to each user who starts an Autodesk product, up to the number of licenses purchased. Usually returns to NLM when a user closes all Autodesk products, which makes the license available to other users. NLM can be configured to allow a user to borrow a license and disconnect from the network until a specified return date—a borrowed license is only returned to NLM on or before the return date
Now you can access your tools via the Internet without tying up your desktop or maintaining software. Get access to select Autodesk cloud services for creating, editing, analysing, and sharing work through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model.
